Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA)

The Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) program ensures that case administrators fully understand Relativity’s capabilities, allowing you to maximize the software’s flexibility and provide an intuitive interface for end users.

What to Expect

The RCA exam tests your knowledge of Relativity and is delivered in two parts: an online quiz and a hands-on exercise. Study materials, including a practice quiz, are available on the Relativity Community site to help you prepare.

Prerequisites

Before taking the RCA exam, you must have at least three months of experience using the software and have had training in Relativity, either from kCura or on-the-job. To sign up for Relativity administrative training, please visit our Training Center.

Relativity Analytics Specialist

The Relativity Analytics Specialist certification is available for individuals who have extensive experience with analytics in  Relativity. Those who work with these features on a daily basis are the best candidates for this certification.

What to Expect

The Relativity Analytics Specialist exam measures your ability to successfully run a case with Analytics and consists of a 75-question quiz. Though we do not provide study materials or a training environment for this exam, there are a number of existing resources listed in our FAQ document that can help you prepare.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this certification; however, we recommend the following prior to taking the exam:

  • At least six months of hands-on experience managing Analytics projects.
  • Attending our Relativity Analytics in-person training.

Relativity Assisted Review Specialist

The Relativity Assisted Review Specialist certification is available for those who have extensive experience with computer-assisted review in Relativity. Individuals who have worked on a variety of Assisted Review projects are the best candidates for this certification.

What to Expect

The Assisted Review Specialist exam measures your ability to successfully run a case using Assisted Review and consists of a 75-question quiz. Though we do not provide study materials or a training environment for this exam, there are a number of free resources listed in our FAQ document that can help you prepare for the exam.

There are no prerequisites for this certification; however, we recommend the following prior to taking the exam:

  • At least six months of hands-on experience running Assisted Review projects.

What to Expect

The exam—an online quiz consisting of 75 questions—will measure your ability to successfully set up, run, and troubleshoot a Relativity environment and manage its infrastructure. There are no prerequisites for this certification; however, we recommend the following prior to taking the exam:

  • At least a year of experience as an infrastructure specialist/manager.
  • Attending our Relativity Infrastructure in-person training.

  • At least six months of hands-on experience managing projects in Relativity.
  • Prior exposure and understanding of Processing, Analytics, and Assisted Review.

The Review Specialist exam measures your ability to successfully navigate and review documents in Relativity, and consists of a 100-question quiz. Previous review experience is recommended, but not required. The Review Certification Workbook can be found here.

Relativity Certified Sales Professional (RCSP)

Successfully demonstrating Relativity is an important part of an effective sales process. The Relativity Certified Sales Professional (RCSP) exam is designed to help sales professionals, and others who frequently discuss the advantages of Relativity inside and outside of their organization, become experts in delivering our product demo. The demo was carefully crafted to highlight Relativity’s features and functionality intuitively. Becoming an RCSP gives you the foundation to communicate how the software can help solve your clients’ e-discovery challenges.

Sales certification is open to all professionals employed by an active Relativity license holder.

What to Expect

The certification is delivered in two parts: a demo presentation and an online quiz. Study materials are available on the Relativity Community site to help you prepare.

RCSPs are proven experts in the delivery of an effective and relevant Relativity sales demo. By giving a demo as an RCSP, your prospective clients will gain a comprehensive understanding of the software in an engaging way.

Relativity Certified User

Renewing Your Certification with RCE Credits

As an easy way for Analytics Specialists to keep up with advancements in Relativity, we offer Relativity Continuing Education (RCE) credits. These credits allow you to renew your certification on a yearly basis. By earning 6 topic-related RCE credits within the 12 months following your certification date, you can extend your certification for an additional year.

Once certified as an Analytics Specialist, you will receive regular emails to help you monitor your certification status and number of RCE credits earned. To earn credits, you can attend an Analytics event, such as a webinar or related sessions at Relativity Fest. Specialized RCE credits are also available for some industry events. If you have a question about how many RCE credits can be applied to an industry event, please contact us.

Earn Relativity Expert or Master Designation

If you’re an RCA who holds two or three additional certifications concurrently, you will automatically receive recognition as a Relativity Expert. If you’re an RCA with four or more additional certifications concurrently, you will be recognized as a Relativity Master. You can refer to the Relativity Certifications Quick-Start Guide for more information.

The Expert and Master designations are intended to recognize proficiency of technical skills. The Relativity Certified Sales Professional (RCSP) certification allows sales professionals to validate their understanding of Relativity and demonstrate their expertise in selling the platform. The RCSP does not count towards the Expert or Master status.
